Mancala comes from Arabic, which means change. This game may be the most varied board game in the world. Use seeds or small stones to play on the board representing the pit.
The disk has 2 rows and 6 columns (sometimes there are 4 columns), a total of 12 pits, each with a larger pit at both ends. The purpose of the game is to put more seeds in the bowl that represents you, the better.
Usually two players choose a row separately, place a large bowl at one end of each row, and put 4 seeds in each of the 12 small pits at the beginning of the game. Two people take turns sowing, first take out all the seeds in their own pits, and then sow into each pit in a clockwise order (putting a small object), sowing one seed at a time, including the big bowl Sowing a seed (not sowing in the opponent’s pit).
There are two important rules in this game:
1. If the last seed is planted in your own big pit when planting, then continue planting, otherwise it is the opponent’s turn to plant.
2. If the last seed to be planted falls into your own pit, and the pit is empty, then take this seed and all the seeds in the pit of the opponent facing the pit and put it into your own big In the pit.
Players don’t have any seeds in their hands, and all seeds sown clockwise come from their own pits.
When all the pits on a side (excluding the big pit) are empty, the game ends. The empty side takes back all the seeds in the opponent’s pit, plus the number of seeds in its own big pit, compared with the number of seeds in the opponent’s big pit, the more one wins.
